Placing Ads In The Newspaper

Offline marketing is advertising your online business through offline channels such as newspapers, magazines, business cards, videos, postcards, etc. Offline marketing is a great way to stand out from the crowd. Most people who start an online affiliate marketing business ONLY advertise online where competition is at it's most fierce.

That's not smart marketing. In fact, a lot of people who try, but ultimately fail to produce profits online could have made a fortune if they would have invested the same amount of effort and energy promoting their online business using offline marketing strategies. Why is offline marketing of an online business so effective? Mostly, because your ads stand out more.

On the Internet, you are constantly being bombarded by ads from every direction promising to make you a fortune with the latest online business opportunity. But offline, there are only a handful of intelligent marketers promoting their Internet businesses.

This is a huge opportunity for you. Wherever you live, there are people all around you right now who are hoping to find a way to make extra money. You have a great solution for many of these people but they will never know about it until you tell them through your offline marketing efforts.

Classified advertising can be an extremely effective method of reaching your potential prospects and customers. The most effective ads are able to convey their message to the reader in a few short sentences. When classified advertising can effectively target (and appeal to) their intended prospects or customers, the result will be a higher response rate and more qualified leads.

Classified advertisements have been proven to be an effective method of targeting prospective Network Marketers and/or end customers for them. Classified ads can be a very good investment as small ads in weekly town papers can cost as little as $10.

When advertising in larger publications, Network Marketing experts will usually use a co-op arrangement where they pool their resources with other Network Marketers and agree to share in the leads that are generated. This minimizes the cost to each individual in the co-op and also reduces the risk associated with potentially unproductive ads.

The most effective classified ads "call out" to their intended audience. They do this by identifying benefits that appeal to the type of prospect they seek to attract. Successful classified ads can target general work-at-home income seekers, entrepreneurial opportunity seekers or they can hone in on specific niches or occupations to further qualify the respondents by category.

Different ads work better in different places and at different times of the year. A work-at-home type ad typically draws better in a weekly small town newspaper as opposed to the classified section of a major city's newspaper where a more professional targeted prospect may apply.

One important consideration that applies to all advertising is if you advertise product, you'll attract mainly product users.

If your desire is to attract business builders, you'll want to advertise your company's most exciting product - your income opportunity!

Use Your Existing GDI Domain and Forward it to your Ferrari Team website.

or

Register a New Domain Name and Forward it to one of your GDI Movie Pages

When advertising in the newspaper business
opportunities section, you will normally want to
advertise the "business opportunity" website -
http://MakeBigBucksFromHome.com

You can make millions of dollars (or as much as YOU want to make) promoting your webpage with classified ads starting TODAY using only the information on this page and your Ferrari Team sales page or your GDI movie page that you have already have set-up. Here's how to get started:

First you need to register your own domain name.

The reason you should have you own domain name is so you can forward that domain to your Ferrari Team site or your GDI movie page.

http://RecruitLikelana.com/r/____/capture

and

http://website.ws/yourgdiusername

are both a bit long, and hard to remember to use in Print Advertising.

Also, since people cannot "Click" on the link, they must manually type it in, many people will forget to put whatever comes after the '.com' and you won't get credit for any signups.

And it just looks better!

Think of a snazzy domain name - one easy to remember and easy to spell.

Yes, you can get another domain name with GDI, but it will cost you $10 every month.  You aren't going to need the hosting plans and the email plans that come with another GDI domain because you are just going to be using that domain to be a place holder for the site you will be 'forwarding' it to... so I would suggest that you register a new domain with GoDaddy and get a domain name of your own for about $12 or less per year.

http://GoDaddy.com

Basically, choose a domain name that will appeal to the reader of the newspaper classified ad.  Maybe something like www.StayHomeWithTheKids.com or www.FireTheBoss.com or something like that.  You get the idea.

Run a Classified Newspaper Advertisment.

Place at least 1 newspaper classified ad now.

Now, for placing Classified Ads. We will be advertising your phone number in the newspaper.

Here's what I recommend.

Run your ad with just your ad copy and phone number. Then make sure that your voicemail has a professional sounding message on it...I know, I know, you may like the  kids on your phone message there to tell the world how much you love them. But seriously, you don't need to bother setting up a separate line, unless you already have one, just tell your kids not to answer the phone over the next few days and put a voicemail message on there for your business.

Where I live we have many newspapers and freely distributed publications that have classified ad sections. You have similar publications where you live. Print media is a great way to promote your business. Take advantage of it!

Have you ever seen the infomercials with Don Lapre selling an information course where Don talks about: "How I Made Millions With One Tiny Classified Ad Working Out Of My One-Bedroom Apartment"?...

Well, I'm here to tell you that Don was on to something...no matter who tells you that he's "no good"...I think he's a very smart guy, and I've learned through testing myself that we can make lots of money with very cheap newspaper ads.

Here's how to get started:

Call your local newspaper or weekly newspaper to find out the cost for a small classified ad in the "Business Opportunities" or "Self Employment" section of the newspaper.  Most newspapers even have a way for you to post a classified online and have it show up in the actual newspaper.

If you are placing your ad in a local newspaper, put your local number in the ad, if it's an out of state ad, you may want to look into getting a 1-800 number for it, or just put in your website.   I personally don't like the 1-800 option because if they cannot afford to call you long distance long enough for you to just direct them to your website, then they probably cannot afford the $10 per month to join you in business either.

Where I live it's about $20 per week in one paper and around $60 a week in another. Just decide on your budget, review the classified ad rates and setup your campaign accordingly. Based on my own personal ROI when running newspaper ads over the past 8 years is around 3 to 5 times return on my investment week in and week out!

Select an ad from below or write your own.
Remember to keep it SHORT and to the point!

Let the callers leave a message on your voicemail. Below is an example or you can write your own.

"Hi and thanks for calling our Nationwide advertisement. We are currently looking for individuals that have a desire to work at home, part time or full time. We will only be able to get back to you with all the details if you please leave your full name, telephone number twice and email address, if you have one, and we'll get back to you within 48 hours. Thanks and make it a great day."

For most offline publications, you can place your classified ad order directly over the Internet. Now, from your list of offline publications, select at least 3 print publications that you will run a classified ad in to promote your new business.

To do this, simply visit each publications website and locate the "Place An Ad" area of the site and follow the simple instructions provided to order your classified ad. Alternatively, you can locate the publication's phone number and pick up the phone and call them to place your order.

NOTE: Generally, you'll want to place your ad in the "Business Opportunities" or "Work at Home" section of the newspaper. Of course, each publication has it's own section categories and sub-categories so you'll want to review this and decide which sections to place your ad in. If you call the publication on the phone, a customer service representative will also be able to guide you accordingly.

TIP: Newspaper classified advertising is relatively cheap. For example, where I live it's about $20 per week in one paper and around $60 a week in another. Just decide on your budget, review the classified ad rates and setup your campaign accordingly. Based on my own personal ROI when running newspaper ads over the past 8 years is around 3 to 5 times return on my investment week in and week out!

I've posted some sample newspaper classified ads you can use to get started. You may use these ads exactly as they are or modify them as desired. Also feel free to create your own ads. Just keep them honest. Remember to keep the ads short, and to the point. Make sure you headline is a "Punch Line" so your readers want to read your ad. At the end of the ad, insert your new Domain Name which is forwarded to your GDI Movie Ticket website. In the examples below I've listed just the website, you can decide if you want to put just your phone number, just your website, or both. Test it out and see what gets you the best results.

The key to classified advertising is to be consistent. Sales increase with familiarity. When your ad appear every day and every weekend for a month it builds trust with classified ad readers. You can make some sales with an ad showing up just once, but your sales will grow over time as your ad is seen consistently from day to day and week to week. For best results, place at least 3 newspaper classified ads right now in 3 different papers. If you can't afford it or if 3 classified ads feels overwhelming to you right now, just place 1 newspaper classified ad today and make a commitment to let your ad run every day for at least 7 days to get the best results.

Congratulations on advertising your Internet business using offline classifieds, you'll be glad you did this today.

Junk Mail Reverse Advertising

How much junk mail to you get in your postal mailbox every day?

Many of those companies sending you that junk mail include postage-paid envelopes for you to return something to them in like a free magazine subscription form or a free sample of blah blah, or whatever.

Save YOUR stamps and send them YOUR business card or a flier in THEIR envelope - all free because they've already paid for the postage.  :-)  This has got to be one of my favorite of all time because....

The companies that hire employees to open these envelopes probably don't pay them very much to begin with.  There they are, opening envelopes all day and then viola!  they get your business card, stick it in their purse and give you a call or visit your website after they get home from the time sucking, no paying J.O.B.

How long do you keep business cards?   I bet you keep them a long time.

You can order business cards through GDI, or order them yourself and just put your website address on there.  http://MakeBigBucksFromHome.com is the one I use and it's a real attention grabber.

I am sure you can come up with an attention grabbing website address that hasn't been used yet.

I double-dog dare you.

:-)

Send out classified ads to local newspapers and do some reverse marketing with your business cards...

Success will come with patience....
